States with the best performance in WAEC 2017 examination

It was Reported that Abia State was recorded, best performance in the recently released 2017 WAEC May/June SCCE results.
According to the report, Abia State presented 51,839 candidates for 2017 May/June WASSCE. 81.54% of the candidates obtained five credits with English Language and Mathematics which made the state the best in terms of performance.
Rivers, Edo, Imo, Bayelsa finished second, third, fourth and fifth respectively behind Abia.

Anambra,
 Lagos,
 Taraba,
Enugu
and
 Delta,
 occupied the sixth to tenth position in that order.
While it can be said that the South South and South East States dominated the top ten, it can be said also that Taraba State recorded a major improvement in their students’ performance, rising from 21st position last year to 8th position this year.CLICK HERE for more details
