See what a civil servant does to provide food for the family

It was revealed and confirmed tha a 46-year-old civil servant who works at Benue State Environmental Sanitation Agency (BENSESA) had to resort to selling groundnut to take care of his family. Godwin Oga revealed that he started selling groundnut on the streets in June because he was unable to provide food for his family. The father of three also revealed that the government has not paid him salary for months.

He said: “I have so far spent 15 years in service with BENSESA and have also been screened in the ongoing state government screening exercise. I started this groundnut business earlier in June this year to prevent hunger and starvation of my family and to buy medications.” Oga explained that he has been working non-stop even though some people make jest of him for making a living by selling groundnut. He added that he advised some of his colleagues in the same situation to seek other means to earn a living.
