Buhari writes to National assembly to extend his vacation

The National Assembly received a letter from the president,telling them them that he wants his vacation to be extended for citing Medical reason
 The special adviser to the president Mr Femi Adesina made a statement in the  media house and publicity on Sunday, January 5, the president said he had to “complete and receive the results of a series of tests recommended by his doctors.”

President Muhammadu Buhari wrote to the National Assembly today, February 5, 2017, bringing to their notice of his desire to extend his leave in order to complete and receive the results several tests recommended by his doctors

the test cycle before returning. The notice has since been dispatched to the Senate President, and Speaker, House of Representatives.

 Mr. President expresses his sincere gratitude to Nigerians for their concern, prayers and kind wishes. Meanwhile, Former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo reacted to the rumour that President Buhari had died describing those peddling the rumour as wicked. He said the president needed “our prayers and best wishes, which will ginger his morale to come back more stronger and better.” Obasanjo said the issue needed not be politicised and said it was wrong to wish anyone dead irrespective of differences and recalled he has been the victim of rumoured death while in office. He said: “If you don’t like him, wait for another election, not going about to say he is dead.
No matter his health situation, we should pray for him to recover quick and come back more stronger and better. “For anyone wishing him dead, such person or group of persons are callous, wicked and treacherous."
